Question
WHAT IS THE DIGIT IN THE ONES PLACE OF 2 TO THE 57TH POWER

It should be noted that the 1st few powers of 2 are 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, ...
Looking at the last digit in each one gives 2, 4, 8, 6, 2, 4, 8, 6, 2 ...
This is 2, 4, 8, 6 in repetition, so every four powers, it repeat.
That means the 2 to the 1st, 5th, 9th, 13th, etc. all end in 2.
Since 4*14 = 56, the 57th power is the same as the 1st power, and that is 2.

By the way, using a sheet I made in Excel a while ago to handle large number,
2^57 is 144,115,188,075,855,872 (a combination of 3 cells for just that number)
so it does indeed end in 2.
