WordPerfect/WP x6 and hyperlinks

Question
Hi Nancy -- I'm doing an appellate brief that is to be filed electronically and they require "hyperlinks" in the table of contents to the document headings;  i.e. "jurisdiction  p. 4" in the table of contents -- they want to click on that and be taken to that heading on p. 4.

Can you give me some ideas how to accomplish that?  Also, do you know if the hyperlink once installed in the WP file will follow it over to PDF if we convert to pdf?

Thanks

Gene

Answer
Gene, you would create a Table of Contents that includes hyperlinks.

I use Heading Styles to create Table of Contents, I find that the easiest way.

You would apply a Heading style to the text and then when you generate the Table of Contents, depending on the style Heading 1, 2 etc. this will determine the level/indents of your Table of Contents.

The most comprehensive directions I have seen can be found at

This is a good bookmark site for WordPerfect.

The following should be helpful in making sure you have hyperlinks in your PDF
