WordPerfect/WordPerfect 12

When merging a form document with a data source, I have to change the File Type (dropdown box) from WP MERGE FORMS (*.frm) to ALL FILES (*.*) as my older form documents are .wpd verses .frm.

My question is whether or not I can change/reset the default so that ALL FILES (*.*) automatically comes up under File Type rather than WP MERGE FORMS (*.frm).  This would save me a lot of time as I always need access to all files when merging.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can send my way!

Dee, I am not seeing where you can change the extension Globally.  There is a WP forum that is very helpful at...

I am seeing that all you have to do is change the extension and you could do that in the file manager all at one time.

I would keep a copy of the original files before I changed the extension.  But if you can simply take a little time and change the file name extension to all of your files at one time. that might help.
