Worker`s Compensation - Comp Case

Expert: Margot RN BScN GNC - 1/23/2007

Question
I was hurt at work and was given limited use of my injured area, I'm still on comp, but I recently finished more rehab on my own, can I retake my work physical.

Answer
Hi Daniel,

Comp regulations vary so widely state to state that you really need to check the specifics of your particular compensation insurance. You could call your work-site representative, whoever handles the comp cases at your job, perhaps the HR Manager. You could also speak to the Comp agency itself, they would be able to tell you your exact rights.

Sorry I can't be more help, but I hope this helped a bit.

Margot
