Experience I've written many love letters over the years, I'm already a volunteer in another teen category (gay/bi/lesbian), I've been told by my English teachers I am an excellent writer, I am in advanced English/Creative Writing classes, and Shakespeare is one of my biggest inspirations.

Education/Credentials I am in high school, so I know how teen thinks. I also know what to say and what not to say.
Question Hello! I really like a girl from my school, we've been very good friends for over a year. Now I want to write her a love letter and/or a poem. But I dont want to go too deep, or say that I love her... I just need to write a letter that will make her smile, and feel good about me. So its sort of a "like-love" letter... I dont really know how to say it... What should I do?
P.S. : I know her favourite song, so maybe I should insert lyrics in my letter?
Answer Easiest thing to do is sit with a piece of paper and pencil, write her name at the top, then completely fill the page up with every thought you have about her; good, bad, deep, shallow, perverted, respectful, everything. Then circle the top 5 that you want her to know and turn them into a quick little note and give it to her. Don't get too poetic or reveal too much about your true feelings; KISS- Keep It Simple, Stupid!
