Hi Rebecca. It'd be nice if the answer were so easy as: "Get an agent." Agents are more difficult to attract than publishers, thouh it does help to study their submission requirements such as those at http://www.ethanellenberg.com as all AAR(American Artists Representatives - the only genuine agents and the only ones to deal with - guidelines are the same. The best place to start is at http://www.pred-ed.com. P&E gives agents and publishers a "recommended" or "not recommended" judgement. Only deal with those that are recommended. never sell All Rights and keep favorite titles to yourself.
