Writing Books/Writer's Block

What is the best thing you can do if you get writer's block? Is there anything you can do, so you don't get it?

Don't think about it. Keep it out of your head. Brainstorm as much as you can. If you can't work on one idea, work on another that comes much more easily. It comes to all of us.

Or can you work your way through it? Do you have the writing tools necessary to force your way through writer's block? Remember, the first draft doesn't mean a damn thing. Most of it you'll edit out anyway. Fight through it, find out what works for you. There's no easy answer to this question, I'm afraid.
