Question
My sister was born in 1930 and as a young girl was in the French exodus from the invading germans, she has a lots of stories that her children and grandchildren would like to preserve. My question for you is "where could I found someone that could talk to her and write her stories" is that possible or am I all wet.

Thanks

Jack R. Oin

Answer
I have seen ads on Craigslist.org asking for writers for people who want to write their memoirs. Perhaps you could place an ad on there. It is pretty easy and free, and you have to place it from where ever you are. You could ask for a local writer or any writer if you are willing to work online. There will be the matter of compensation you and the writer will have to agree on. You may also want to look at the sites writersweekly.com and absolutewrite.com. They have forums where writers gather, and you may get something from that. Good luck.
