Writing Books/characters

Question
Is it better to map out your whole story and know every detail about your character before you start writing your story or just figure it out as you go?

Answer
Hello Ashley,

In my openion it is better to figure it out as you go. If you allow them, the characters will thell you who they are and they will help you to write the story. Trust your creative mind and don't interfere with it by editing, correcting, revising, etc, until you have a first rough draft. Then go back and make it pretty.
Happy writing,
Dorothy
