Writing Books/manuscripts

how do i show thoughts while im writnig a manuscript?

Dear Marissa,

If you're writing an essay, or any type of manuscript, even the kind that involves dialogue between two people, you simply write as you would speak.

Use words like "I feel," "I believe," "It's important to me because," "I sometimes don't understand," "I get angry when," "This is a happy situation because," etc. Just use any words that you would normally use when speaking to someone that convey emotion.

I'm not sure I understand your question: If you're talking about how you show your own or a character's thoughts, etc., while you are writing a manuscript, simply put all "thoughts" in italics. That instantly shows the reader that you are departing from natural "talk," into a thought process.

I hope this helps --

All Best,
