Question
If a person writes a book using a "pen name" will the author always remain anonymous? Also, how can the author have the rough copy edited or get opinions of other people before it is copywrited without the risk that someone else will copy it and have it copywrited and published beforehand? Thanks

Answer
Well, unless the book is under alot of media scrutiny like Primary Colors was or the author becomes very famous, I don't think the authors behind pen names are revealed. As for the copyright question, it is unlikely someone would steal the idea. To be safe, you can go to http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ1.html#cr to see about getting protection. Good luck.
