Question
I am interested in writing a book, I need to know if I can do a bio of my life and change all the characters in the story or just make the book fictional. I have this yearning in my heart that tells me now is the time to start writing. It has been a life long dream of mine.
Please I really need your help. I read all the time, I have no set prefrence, after I read, I always vision that I am reading my own work. I just want to make my dream a reality.

Thank You

Answer
You can write an autobiography. If the people don't mind being written about, you can use their names. However, if they don't want to be written about, you should change their names. To avoid lawsuits, you should be subtle enough where the people wouldn't recognize themselves.
Good luck.
