QUESTION: 1-if I have a great knowledge in some issue (industry) also I enjoy it and interested in too , is that ll be sufficient motives let me open franchise in that issue ?

or

I have to have practical or market experience in that issue or industry before start a franchise ?

please give me your advices , commentaries

2- if I want to get an information about a specific product for instance (ear muffs) , I want to import it or has the license to distribute it in my local country

I want to know :

who import it ?
whats product models in the local market (I have catlogues for USA and CHINESE product it contain lot of models , those companies told me that they haven t an distributor on my local country , but that's not enough , I didn't know how can I make an investigation   by asking radio shacks retails for products existence but that's enough  , I need a method for investigation the market for this product , I want to be the only agent to import that  , do you have suggestions (can I use the my local  import/export trade official organization office )

You  will need  the  first  part,  as  listed by you
plus
You  need to  understand  the  market experience / practical  exposure
before  you  buy  the  franschise.

AS  AN EXAMPLE,  
-McDonalds   forces  all  the  new  franchise  to  undergo
*orientation.
*3  months on  the  job  training, AS  A  STAFF  MEMBER
-cleaning  the  floors
-serving   the  customers
-organizing  the  kitchen

1- the safety industries unfortunately not highlighted here in Egypt or concerned  ( I think government is responsible for that) the market of safety in Egypt is weak

2- I know with 75% that this products the only retail chain can be sold is (RADIO SHACK) , I think that they didn't  need local agent or importer to buy from , I think they interact and deal directly with international companies so their is no chance for middle man

who is the converter to any idea even if simple to reality and business without arrangement for instance ( someone work as an importer for rice then export bean then make small labeling factory etc.... simply involve in many activities or any activities  

or

who concentrate in some sort of business all some sort of industry then enlarge his name in market also his relation also his experience after a few years he ll be in strength point and finance too , so in this moment can involve in many activities like stocks , investment ideas ,  ...... also he ll has the ability to hire many consultants and attorneys to deputize him

[ IN  EVERY  COUNTRY,  THIS SEGMENT  STARTS  FROM  A  LOW BASE
AND  THEN GROWS  FAST.
I  COULD  GIVE  YOU  AS  AN EXAMPLE, IN   AUSTRALIA
-the  safety  market   was   80 million dollars in 1979
- the safety market  in  2007   is   1300 million  dollars.
AGAIN  THE  SAFETY  MARKET  IS  MADE  OF  300 ITEMS
-ear  muff
-safety  googles
-safety  spectacles
-helmets
-gloves
-mouth guards
etc etc
