Question Hi Roger,
Hoping you can give we some words of wisdom on how to go about finding a US agent for my TV work, when I am not a US citizen. I have just completed my first hour-long spec but have no intentions of contacting anyone until I have finished my third. However browsing the net with regards to agents just now has been a dispiriting experience (perhaps appropriately) and I am wondering if you might know whether/how much the perceived hassle of repping a non-US citizen put agents off? I am very happy to travel to the US at any time, and would of course relocate there should an offer of a job on a writing staff ensue.
Any tips, anecdotes or words of encouragement you can supply me with would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Jessica
Answer This is a new one on me, and being ill-equipped to answer, I have queried someone at my agency. I hope to get some wisdom for you soon. If you don't hear from me in about 48 hours, please query me again so that I can respond.
Meanwhile, let me know where in the world you are.
Thanks.
Roger
