Question QUESTION: How do I go about getting my script to something like the SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL, The idea and story-line are first-rate, and i believe worth looking at. Is it something I could send to you and seek your advice or approval. Are there writers, or producers, that by ideas?
ANSWER: Michael,
I don't know if Sundance still has its screenwriting section.
You might want to check it out to see. If you want me to
look at your script and give my advice on it, I'd be happy
to do that. You can see my services and fees at donvasicek.com.
I do not understand your last question. Please repeat it.

QUESTION: The question I was asking was if there are people, writers, producers, ect. that would actually buy an idea for a script?
Answer Michael,
There are, but it's a very long shot.
Simply check the internet with that
question and see what comes up.
Or, go to "The Hollywood Creative
Directory" or "411". There you will
find names, addresses, fax numbers,
email addresses, phone numbers, etc.
of producers, production companies,
agents, etc. Find those who have been
in involved in movies that are similar
to yours. Write up a short script and
cold call them, make your pitch, or
send them a query letter.
I hope this has been of help to you.
