Wyoming - Driggs, Idaho

Question
In September 11, 2010 we have a trip plan to Driggs, Idaho and plan to visit the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole.  What should be not miss?  We will be staying at Teton Creek Reosrts.  Any help you can give me in planning this trip would be appreciated.

Answer
There are several factors to consider.  One is the weather.  It could be snowing which would cause you to alter any plans.  OF course it could be a beautiful fall day too.  The Grand Tetons is a wonderful place to hike and walk.  If possible attend a ranger talk at night (it will be chilly).  Have dinner or just sit in Jackson Lake Lodge.  The view is incredible and the atmosphere is lovely.  You could take the boat across Jenny Lake and hike to the waterfall. Jackson Hole is more commercial in recent years, but still fun.  For an old time show go to the Gas Light.  Of course Yellowstone is less than 50 miles away and that is another world entirely.
Hope you have a great time.
