Question hi irina ive been watching x files on and off.ive just finished the sixth season,and i just found out that there was a x files film made before the sixth season.i was wondering are you supposed to watch that before the sixth season or after.if you can help thankyou.
Answer It's up to you. When the Fox writers made the movie, they wanted to make an X-files film that didn't require you to know that background of the story in order to watch the actual movie. You should watch it before the 6th season, since they make references to the events that occurred, but it is ok if you watch it later or sooner. It won't make much of a plot difference. So basically, if you've already seen the 6th season, then you can go ahead and watch the movie anyways. It's completely up to you. Hope this answers your question.
