About Seraphina
Expertise
I am an expert on every season and episode after the first season, which I`m working on. Trivia is but the tip of the iceberg(I`m very knowledgeable, don;t misunderstand my preference), my specialty lies in the mythology as well as the layers and layers of meaning within all episodes both on their own and in correlation with each other. My analysis of the storylines involve everything to their very expressions Mulder and Scully`s eyes who speak the volumes that never escape their lips. Am I getting too abstract? In this case that is a good sign, if you`d like email me further questions so we can address specifications, I am confident that you`ll be pleased with my contributions.

Experience
An agile mind that has made good use of her collection of the entire series.

X Files - Mythology Episodes

Expert: Seraphina - 6/27/2004

Question
About 2 years ago, SciFi aired what they called X Files Chain Reaction.  This subset of X Files episodes included only those which traced the main Mythology Thread of the Alien Conspiracy Plot, which is woven throughout the 9 seasons.  I am looking to find a list of those episodes.  I have just purchased all of the seasons on DVD and want to watch them in this context.  Are you aware of such a list, or know where I could find.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer
The depth and profoundity that imbue the mythology plotline is complex but so intricately connected that the storyline flows step by step. Each mythoogy ep revolves around Mulder and Scully uncovering another level of the mystery and its severity. Though the number of each season's batch of ep's varies a bit, they share a common theme as and together unravel a new element of the conspiracy. Such then is my definition of a mythology episode, I see connections relevant to the season or series' overall plot  that may not be official myth but I've deemed important enough to understand in getting the big picture. Here you go:

Season 1- Pilot, Deep Throat, Conduit, Fallen Angel, E.B.E., The Erlenmeyer Flask
Season 2- Little Green Men, Duane Barry, Ascension, One Breath, Colony, End Game, Anasazi
Season 3- The Blessing Way, Paper Clip, Nisei, 731, Piper Maru, Apocryphca, Jose Chung's "From Outer Space", Talitha Cumi
Season 4- Herrenvolk, Tunguska, Terma, Memento Mori, Tempus Fugit, Max, Zero Sum, Gethsemane
Season 5- Redux, Redux 2, Unusual Suspects, Christmas Carol, Emily, Patient X, The Red and the Black, The End
...........Fight The Future (the movie is essential)......
Season 6- The Beginning, S.R. 819, Two Fathers, One Son, The Unnatural, Biogenesis
Season 7- The Sixth Extinction, The 6th Extinction 2- Amor Fati, Sein Und Zeit, Closure, En Ami, Requiem
Season 8- Within, Without, Per Manum, This Is Not Happening, Deadalive, Three Words, Essence, Existance
Season 9- Nothin Important Happened Today, NIHT part 2, Trust No 1, Providence, Provinance, William, The Truth 1 and 2

There you have it, have fun and let me know if you have any further questions.
