I've only recently topped myself up on X-Files lore, mainly through transcripts of the show.

From what I can tell, life originated from this meteor, bringing with it the black oil virus. Whenever people become infected with the oil, they seem to have a mission of some sort, what is it? Where does that 'radiation' power come from?

WHy are the syndicate working on an alien-hyrid race? As slaves? If so, whats the point? I honestly dont understand the role of the syndicate as a whole...to aid the aliens, or pretend they are while trying to develop the virus to kill them?

Why dont they just kill Mulder n Scully? They kill everyone else!

That ship found in Africa; whats the deal there? Bringing people back to life, Mulder going all strange n reading minds, the Cigarette Smoking Man taking genetic material from him - they mentioned some sort of immunity-from what, the plague? How?

Whats so special about Scully's baby?

How is Gibson Praise so important? That junk DNA is on, and he can read minds....is he some link between humans and aliens?

Ok - here goes, I'll see what I can do

They have to destory those who know about the oil - therfore those who could know about them...

Where does that 'radiation' power come from?
From the meteor - from the ufo in antartica and from the ships that travel the shapeshifters to and from earth.

WHy are the syndicate working on an alien-hyrid race?
They want to be better than the aliens - when the aliens colonise earth their intention is to destory anything not linked to them - therfore humans - alien human hybrid means the human race will survive - the syndicate ahve also discovered that the dna of the hybrids can kill off the aliens and therefore they can defend easrth against the colonisation...

Why dont they just kill Mulder n Scully? They kill everyone else!
They have tried many times to kill mulder and scully - mulder is actually protected by his link to cancer man and through his father's involvement with the original syndicate...scully no has the child - they want...as they learn more it becomes too dangerous for their desath too...too much to cover up.

Mulder has survived the black oil therefore he is immune. The ship in africa is a transport power vessel for the aliens - people /aliens and hybrids suspended and reanimated after travel here.

Whats so special about Scully's baby? It is the only actual surviving alien human hybrid - it also has the immunity from tyhe balck oil - inherited from mulder...mulder's dna crossed with alien by cancerman....scully's eggs also crossed with alien dna by cancerman....

He is an alien - but he is a peacful alien who does not want to see colonisation...
