X Files - X-file episode 6x21 Field trip

Expert: Leia - 12/18/2004

Question
Hello Leia. This is my first email to you. I have been a big X-file fan for many years. I have busy videoing them all in recent years from RTE, BBC, and SkyOne. I actually have them all but one. The one single episode I am missing is the 21st from the 6th series. It is called "Field Trip". Perhaps SkyOne "lost" it, and so they will not be showing it. I just wonder is it all possible to purchase the episode on a single VHS Pal Secom video tape from anyone? I would be most grateful if you could help me out. It means so much to me. I could then say I have every episode on video from every series including the movie.

Yours Sincerely,
Aubrey Glazier, Ireland.

Answer
Hi Aubrey,

I know that X-Files released some if not all the episodes on tape, two episodes per tape, but I'm not sure if all of them were released on video or not. I know the store Suncoast (usually in Malls) sold the X-Files tapes, but not sure if they have those stores in Irelend. I didn't see it on Amazon.com unfortunatly.

Is that tv station playing them in any order, or jumbling them up? Sometimes I've seen them play the series in a general order but 'forget' ones here and there. I didn't like that episode particularly, and they probably don't play the unpopular ones as much. You can keep checking your TV guide each week and you might catch it down the road and your video stores and online ordering places, other than that all I can suggest is investing in the DVD sets (and I must say, all my over-played x-files tapes are such poor quality that my DVD sets were a good investment)

Hope that helps!
