About Leena
Expertise
I know everthing about Xena. I`m an un-wavering fan even though the show has ended and I`m up-to-date on the xena movie news. I know memorabilia, props, episodes, quotes, sub-text, characters, actors, and I even talk to some of the former crew from time to time.

Experience
I'm a full-time fan. I own one of the largest xena memorabilia collections and run an (up-to-date) xena web site.

Organizations
www.geocities.com/xena_trade_center/ and the (former) xena and hercules web masters association.

Subject: Xena's cultural heritage

Question
Can you tell me about Xena's cultural heritage? I had heard that she may be of Mycenean or pre-Mycenean background. If you can cite an episode or specific information from the show that relates to her background, that would be greatly appreciated, too.

Thanks!

Answer
Yes, xena was alive in the mycenean greece, the character homer in the academy of bards with attest to this (Homer was a famous writer of the mycenean times). however if you study key events in xena that relate to history, you will see that the show wasn't actually that acurate with its time line... if it was, xena would have been over a thousand years old! not onoly that but she did manage to travel very very far distances in a very short time. I'd say, according to key events in the show, xena lived between 1500BC-300AD!
