Question Hello Keith. I bought an 18'6" Red Jacket sloop in May of this year and for the
life of me cannot find out any info about this vessel. I would like to find out
who built this boat and where it came from. I live in Tasmania (Australia) and
bought the boat here. I would like to be able to contact owners of similar
boats to discuss improvements etc. Do you know anything about these little
boats and/or can you steer me in the right direction to be able to find out

Answer I'm sorry it has taken me so long to answer your question, but after exhaustive research, I cannot determine if a Red Jacket was a class boat (and thus more easily researched) or a custom-built (which would thus be really difficult to research).
I'll keep trying and let you know if I do find something.
