Question Hey
I read your response to the Q was Al a Christian, and I was wondering what else you knew about that. Since "Pretty Fly for a Rabbi" and other Jewish references in his music I was wondering if he is or ever was Jewish and if so, is he a Jew for Jesuse. Is he one of those still looking for the Messaiah? Do you know if he ever accepted Jesus? I also heard a rumor that he lead singing for the Hollywood Church of Christ, do you know anything about that? If he does go to a Christian church, what donomination is he? Is Suzanne a Christian?
Please, I really need to know, you could help me out so much.

Answer I unfortunately do not know a whole lot else about Weird Al's religion. While he has identified himself as a Christian before, he has never spoken in depth about his religious background as far as I know, and that may be because there is not much to know (i.e., that he's not particularly observant). I do know that although Al has written songs with plenty of Jewish references, he has never been Jewish, and he is not a Jew for Jesus.
I have also heard from some blogs that Al is indeed a member of the Hollywood Church of Christ; this tidbit can be found on enough sources that it's probably reliable, but I have never heard Al mention that himself. So that should explain his denomination.
Unfortunately, I have no idea if Suzanne is a Christian. Sorry!
