Subject: exercise/ritual to sleep less?

Question
Hi there,

I believe that to have more prana in our body we can sleep less (and even eat less). In my case, I am wondering if you know of some kind of ritual or exercise to increase energy in my body to specifically make me sleep less hours?  thanks!

Answer
Nada

I think you are right about eating less and sleeping less.  Research shows that so far the only proven way to live longer is to eat less.

There are lots of ways to sleep less hours.
Don't eat late.  It is best not to eat after 4 PM. but definitely no midnight snacks.  If someone does eat late, eat fruit or light food.

15 minutes of Shoulderstand according to yogic scriptures is equal to 2 hours of sleep.

Do yoga.

One round of breath of fire according to yogic scriptures is equal to one breath.  We have an allotted amount of breaths we are born with.

Meditate

Do pranayams

I hope this is a good start for you.
