Question
I have been diagnosed with osteopenia (weakening of bone density).  I do yoga regularly but am wondering of there are postures I should not be doing and also, which postures should I spend more time on to help this condition?  If you have any knowledge of foods that would be helpful also.  Much appreciation.

Answer
Hi Susan,
Follow the below advice strictly and you will be fine.
-Do Bhastrika for 30 times daily in the morning.
-Do Kapalbhati for 20 minutes in the morning.
-Do Anulome-vilome 15 times in the morning.

I want know what postures you do then I will give my advice on the postures.

a.)Take sun bath for at least 20 minutes daily in the morning
b.)Take foods rich in Vitamins A, B6 and D. You can also take supplements of these Vitamins.
c.)Take Zinc 30 mg daily for 3 months.

Below are the Ayurvedic medicines which you can get from Herbal stores.
* Take Shilajit 300 mg twice daily, 15 minutes before or after meals for 6 months.
* Take Ashwagandha 4 tabs a dose, twice daily, 15 minutes before or after meals for 6 months.
* Take Chandraprabha vati 4 tabs a dose twice daily, 15 minutes before or after meals for 6 months.

Take care.
