Question The conception vessel is numbered from bottom to the top. The microcosmic
orbit has it running as a continuation of the governing vessel which makes it
go from bottom lip to the perineum. The little qigong I have done it seems to
move the energy both directions at different times and yet the rest of the
channels run the same direction consistently. Could you shed some light on
this for me?
Thank you for your time.
Mark
Answer You can run the energy in either direction in all the channels. The feeling may be much more powerful for you in one direction than another, but you could take that as a signal that it would be worthwhile to work on the difficult direction. The more you work on qi flow in every direction, the smoother and cleaner your channels will be, and hence your cultivation of qi and internal health.
