Question
I think you are probably getting this question a lot. I have a 10 year old, 3.5 lbs. male yorkie. Would anyone be able to breed him and give me one of the litter instead of buying another dog. He has his papers showing where family history, if that even helps.

Answer
Chris,

If he was a proven stud, and had bred successfully recently then you might have a chance. You could try but I think once the potential buyer of the stud service found out that your male was 10 years old they would probably pass you up for a younger male.  That is not to say that he couldn't do the deed but when you have a business and you need to make every breeding count, why take chances.

I know that is probably not what you wanted to hear but that is the reality of the breeding business.
