I have been watching Y & R since I was 10 years old. I record it everyday because I have a regular job. I will try to find the information you request promptly. When it comes to background music, the show has their own orchestra and information is not posted. You can try emailing them directly with your question at http://www.cbs.com/info/user_services/fb_global_form.shtml

Young and the Restless - Jabot boardroom chairs

Expert: Diana_in_the_Desert - 6/27/2008

Question
I have been religiously watching Y&R since 1983.  I have been trying to get across the point that the upholstery on the Jabot boardroom chairs has not changed since 1983.  This is an embarrassment! They are faded and seriously outdated!  This would seem self-evident and a incredibly easy and cheap fix for that particular set!  Can someone get this to someone who can respond with authority.  I have tried CBS feedback boards for years.  No response. No changes to the upholstery.  Does this seem like a out of line concept?  bjveee@gmail.com

Answer
Hi Bruce,
I feel your pain.  I watch the show just like you and have no authority over my own life much less CBS. LOL  I have also emailed CBS.com several times without one response.  Not sure if there is anything else we can do.  If you want to see something painful to watch try As The World Turns.  I think they have pre-school children filming and editing.  In the first scene they will be out on the farm a person will walk out the door to go to the Diner and the next scene is them walking in the door at the diner.  They just forgot to say "Hey Scotty, beam me up". LOL
Hang in there Bruce, I will to.
