I don't mean to come off sounding rude, but you have no idea how many questions I get about music even though I have this paragraph about my expertise and the fact that I know nothing about the songs. Thank you in advance. Oh, and one other thing, if you do ask a question about music even after all this; I will not answer it. Experience Believe it or not, I have been watching since the show debuted in 1973. I was home sick from school and my mom was going to watch this new soap- the Y&R. I got hooked and have been watching ever since. I especially know the early origins of the show, characters, famililes, etc. I am also very good at predicting what will happen with characters and storylines right away, and usually have contests with my mom or sister to see who is right. But one thing I don't know is music! I don't know the songs they play or background music, so if you need answers regarding music I just can't help because I honestly don't know. I am just watching the show like you, I have no inside information about the songs they sing or that are playing in the background.
Question I`ve had to miss quite a bit of Young & the Restless over the past year...can you tell me where Cole went, how they wrote his character off, will he be returning to Y&R? Do you have any idea what J. Eddie Peck is up to these days?

Last year, Victoria was pregnant with Coles baby and lost it in a miscarriage. She had gotten herself pregnant on purpose while they were separated. She was trying to prevent Cole and Ashley's friendship from becoming romantic, which is what is was doing. Cole and Ashley seemed like they were headed for a romance and then Ashley had to go to France and Spain to deal with an old family problem involving a fake painting. While there, she would not tell cole what she was doing or when she would be back, she was so secretive because she was trying to protect her family. If anyone found out about the fake painting it would hurt the family and business. Cole even came over to spain to see her, but in the end, he just disappeared, supposedly because of AShely's indifference. The Y & R never really explained his absence from the story, or when or if he will come back. However, it was left so open, that he could return on the scene at any time. One day he was just gone. When I first got your letter, i had to think and think, and I finally remembered that one day, I realized he hadn't been on for a while, and he wasn't on again.
As for what he is doing now, I have no idea. Sometimes they refer to old characters in the soap magazines.
