What is wrong with the actress who plays Mac? They said she is out due to illness. When will she return>?

there does not seem to be much info out there as to what is wrong with Ashley (mac), but I am wondering if she had surgery or something, because they knew the exact dates she would be out before she took the time off. Quite a few quesitons have come in about this, I guess none of us like this NEW mac, and want the old one back, that should make her feel good. Anyway,rest easy, Ashely is due to be back on the air May 18, which is TOMORROW!
