About Nick McMillin Expertise I can answer any question based on the English Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card Game. This includes any questions on Rulings.
I'm very good at deck fixes, regardless of the theme or type. I prefer decks that are in the Advanced Format, but will try to tackle either format. Any deck is experience learned and gained to me. I have gone to Events specifically to set up a "Deck Garage".
I can appraise cards at a general value as per buying, selling or trading (in the instance of wanting to know if a trade is equal for both parties or not), but I'd prefer not to appraise all the cards you own.
I'm officially a Level 1 Yugioh Judge, so any and all questions should be easily answerable by me.
Experience I have been playing the Yugioh Card Game since The Legend of Blue Eyes release and continue to play to this day.
Played countless versions of the video games as well.
I have been to an endless number of tournaments and events.

sort of a bummer how all these effect monsters are stealing the thunder from the Blue Eyes White Dragon...
but anyways... the Armed Dragon Series... they are my favorites with the Blue Eyes... quite easy to summon out... one tribute...
i just dont know where i go wrong...
should i go back to having the deck full of protection?
Negate Attacks, Sakuretsu Armor, Magic Cylinder
i dont have a Mirror Force... if i did... it would be in here... that is one hard card to get...
but anyways that is my deck
i need big time help
i thought i would be able to win easily with this...
but i just cant win a match with this deck...
Answer Hey there Brody.
Defensive Decks never win duels. The point of the game is to reduce your opponent's life to 0, not protect your own life points. So going back to a defensive deck wouldn't be a good idea. Especially not in this format where opponents can take away more than 8000 LP in one turn, even first turn.
Also, the reason Blue Eyes isn't good anymore, even with his 3000 Atk, because he doesn't do anything else. There are hundreds of other cards by themselves that could take care of the big monster with their effects alone. Spells, Monsters, Traps... Any kind.
Now, the big problem that I see with this deck, is that there's no specific win condition, just a lot of powerful cards. Win conditions are what successful decks are all about. Themes are also an alright path to take with your deck, though it's not as good of a choice as a definitive win condition.
Here's the directions I can take your deck... Let me know which one you'd like for me to head for.
Dragon Beatdown - A deck revolving around constantly having big dragons on the field and overwhelming your opponent with high attack monsters. Not a very consistent deck type for this meta, but it's pretty effective for casual play.
Sprit Ryu OTK - This deck revolves around the dragon Spirit Ryu. The point of the deck is to draw as many dragons in your hand as possible to discard for Spirit Ryu and hit an opponent's open field for the win. Not a very common deck as it can sometimes be a little slow if made incorrectly, but it can be pretty fast, fun and powerful.
Level Up - Level Up is a deck based around the Armed Dragons and Horus's, another dragon deck. This is an absolutely casual deck type as the deck works well together, but is not very effective against other, stronger decks.
Horus Lockdown - This is the only of the decks I've listed to see any play at Shonen Jump Championships. The point of the deck is to get out Horus LV 8 as soon as possible and have out either Jinzo or Royal Decree to completely have control over your opponent's actions completely locking down their spells and traps. An extremely good Control deck.
Now there are other deck type directions that I can take your deck in. I just need to know what exactly it is that your looking for your deck to accomplish. If you can let me know, we can get started right away.
Hope i can be of help. Thanks for the question!
