About Wilson
Expertise
I am willing to do deck fixes in the advanced format (with current banlist) that have potential in the current metagame ONLY(no random decklists or ones that can't compete with current top tier decks. Innovation is one thing but downright janky decks will be sent to the question pool.) and please, no paragraph deck lists. Rulings are not my specialty but if you need to ask about one question with your deck fix, I will try to accommodate. For price listings, please look on ebay.com. Thanks!

Question
Hello, I am greatly appreciative for any advice or help you can give me for my
Exodia deck.  I have another dueling deck I might ask advice for later, but I
am just seeing if this one is any good.

I do realize I have many more cards than a typical exodia deck.  do you think
it is entirely necessary to have 40, or if the cards work together, is it ok to
have more than that?  I think my total is 50 cards exactly.  My combo with the
Destiny Hero Defender comes from appropriation.  I would get to draw two
cards on their standby phase if both are out at the same time, plus he has a
defense of 2700.  I've also considered adding marshmallon and spirit reapers.

Any advice you can give is greatly appreciative.  I just got back in after taking
a 6 year break, and I've always wanted to run a good exodia deck.  This, to
me, seems like it could have some promise.  Tear it apart if you want.  Like I
said, any advice is appreciated.

Answer
Well, this exodia deck is way too slow.
If you want a cheap exodia deck that works better than this one, try this.

Monsters: 14
3 thunder dragon
2 ojama yellow
2 ojama green
2 ojama black
5 exodia

Spells: 21
3 upstart goblin
3 hand destruction
3 dark world dealings
3 magical mallet
3 ojamagic
2 emergency provisions
3 reload
1 scapegoat

Traps:5
2 reckless greed
3 good goblin housekeeping
