About Michael Lucas (Yu-Gi-Oh Category Guru)
Expertise

I can answer any question based on the English Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card Game.

Rulings questions are my specialty. Ask me about ANY ruling for ANY card or combination of cards. If there's a valid ruling or a way to deduce a valid ruling, I'll be able to help you.

I'll also be willing to do deck fixes, but ONLY on decks that actually show some promise of possibly becoming good. Decks that are just random cards that aren't very good will be rejected, and I'll link you to a page where you can look at some better decks for ideas. Decks that are not in Advanced Format, or not competitive, will be sent to the Question Pool. IF YOUR DECK INCLUDES DARK MAGICIAN, BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON OR RED-EYES BLACK DRAGON, I WILL IMMEDIATELY REJECT IT. These are CASUAL decks, not tournament-competitive ones. Please take decks including those cards to our casual deck experts. Also, I may or may not do fixes on other themes that would be consider non-tournament worthy. (Basically, if it doesn't stand a chance against Dark Armed Dragon, Gladiator Beasts, Lightsworn, or new-age Monarch decks, I'll be hesitant to offer a fix.)

I should also be able to give you general values of cards if you`re looking to buy or sell, or answer whether a certain trade was fair or not. Please limit value questions to 15 cards or less. I'm not going to appraise your entire collection. Additionally, please only list Super/Ultra/Secret/Ultimate rares, and make sure they do not come from structure/starter decks.

For all information about scaling/making sure you : get foils in packs you buy.
NOTE: I will be away for the last week of August, as well as the first week of September. I will still be reviewing applications during this time, once every couple of days, but I won't have the time to give full-blown answers to questions.

Answer
For future reference, PLEASE don't put three or four spaces in between each card.  It makes it really hard to scroll up and down to give you a proper fix.

Monsters:
First off, there need to be 3 Caius.  Zaborg is officially obsolete given Caius can remove ANY card, monster, spell, or trap, and possibly do burn damage as well.  It also gets around the effect of Prime Material Dragon, which is getting more popular in Monarch decks.

I'd say your Monarch lineup should be 3 Caius, 2 Thestalos, 1 Raiza, and 1 Mobius.

I'd include Sangan over one of the Chiefs most likely.

Spells:
The deck should be running two copies of Allure of Darkness.  With so many Dark monsters, it will be easy to have a removal target, and you can get rid of something you don't need in exchange for drawing something you will.

You should only be having games lasting long enough for ONE Pot of Avarice, not two.

I'm not sure about two Vortex AND two Controller maindecked.  I don't know exactly what to do here, but I know it just doesn't seem right.

Where are Heavy Storm and Mystical Space Typhoon?

Traps:
Where's Mirror Force?
I also think you need a couple more defensive Spell/Trap cards like Dimensional Prison, or Sakuretsu Armor if you can't afford the D-Prisons.

Not bad, but still needs some decent work done on it.
