Question
I'm hoping to get my Blackwing Deck worthy of Nationals. Atm I'm missing a
handfull of cards but, I don't want to trade for cards I don't need lol

Monsters(13):
x3 Blackwing - Kalut The Moon Shadow
x3 Blackwing - Shura The Blue Flame
x2 Blackwing - Sirocco The Dawn
x2 Blackwing - Bora The Spear
Blackwing - Elphin The Raven
Blackwing - Blizzard The Far North
Blackwing - Fane The Steel Chain

Spells(14):
x3 Black Whirlwind
x2 Fissure
Solidarity
Dark Eruption
Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Typhoon
Allure Of Darkness
Lightning Vortex
Swords Of Revealing Light
Pot Of Avarice
Brain Control

Traps(13):
x3 Reckless Greed
x3 Icarus Attack
x2 Bottomless Trap Hole
Mirror Force
Torrential Tribute
Magic Cylinder
Call Of The Haunted
Delta Crow - Anti Reverse

Synchros(2):
Stardust Dragon
Iron Chain Dragon

I'm going for a control/sychro based deck more than capable of taking the small
card shop tourneys lol. Plus I need help with making a side deck.

*Also, I have an unrelated ruling question. Which doesn't matter, but would help if you know. An editor on yugioh wikia tells me
that since "Bad Reaction To Simochi" and "Nurse Reficule The Fallen One" do the
same thing, and since "Bad Reaction To Simochi" doesn't stack, that neither does Nurse + Simochi...
Is this true? False? Can you source me a definite ruling on 2 seperate
questions?

1) Does "Bad Reaction To Simochi" stack with another 1? If no, why not?
2) Does Simochi + Nurse stack with eachother? If no, why not?

Thanx alot in advance, peaceOut

Answer
Your Standard Blackwing lineup, if you're not using Vayus, should look like this:

3x Sirocco, Shura, Bora, Kalut
1x Gale
2x Blizzard
And possibly 1-2x Mistral the Silver Shield to make up for not using Vayus.
The deck should also include Dark Armed Dragon since the entire deck is Dark.

Get rid of the Fissures; Solidarity is iffy at best but I understand it at one copy.  Your deck should have no problem clearing out single monsters.

Get rid of Swords -- it doesn't do enough in this deck to be worth it.
Move Lightning Vortex to the side deck.
Remove Pot of Avarice -- it's better to focus on trying to get DAD out rather than getting 5 monsters in the Graveyard.
Add a second Allure of Darkness.

Traps...only thing I'm questioning here is Cylinder.  Games are slower than last format, and all of the big monsters (Gyzarus, Judgment, Dark Armed) can blow this away before you get the chance to use it.

Your Synchro Deck should include the following:
2-3x Blackwing Armor Master
2-3x Blackwing Armed Wing
1x of each of the good 8-star Synchros that are commonly available (Red Dragon Archfiend, Thought Ruler Archfiend, Stardust Dragon, Colossal Fighter)
1x of any significant 7-star Synchros (Black Rose Dragon, and possibly an Arcanite Magician in case you Brain Control a Spellcaster and Sync it up with Gale)
1x Goyo Guardian
2x Magical Android (for Blizzard --> Kalut --> Synchro)

Nurse and Simochi don't stack.  If you happen to have Nurse and Simochi up at the same time, and a life gain card is played, the player will take equivalent damage once, but not twice.

ON VACATION indefinitely. I have not had the chance to be competitive as of lately as there are no Regionals in the area and my work schedule has kept me from traveling out of state. If I expect to be more than a couple of months I will try to see if I can appoint a new guru for the category. My apologies to those seeking to ask me questions, but I am nowhere near as much help as I would like to be right now.
