Expertise
I'm back and ready to answer some questions. w00t I can help with ANY kind of deck if I can. I work with a lot of casual decks, so if you're asking me if your deck is tournament worthy, you're better off to ask a different expert to get a more accurate answer. I haven't been in a tournament since 2004. Now I'm buying cards and duel with friends for fun, hoping to invest a bit while I'm at it. Other than that, I can still rate and help out as best as I can. Please do not list cards in paragraph form. I also will help with any rulings or combo questions. Here's a list of things I could do.

• Deck Fix
• Deck Build (I can make decks from scratch. Must give theme/strategy and cards you had in mind that you want to use. More information = faster response and better deck build)
• Rulings and Combos
• Card Price (No common cards. More information = more accurate price)
• Private Help (Send me a private question if you feel more comfortable talking to me about anything Yu-Gi-Oh TCG related that way. I can help as long as needed)

Note: I will reject if there's no strategy/theme in the deck fix request, or failed to give detail/information for the deck build request.

Experience
3-4 years of playing yugioh but had a break of 2-3 years from it. Now I'm trying to catch up with the "new age" cards/decks. I literally look at thousand of cards online and thought up of many strategies, which resulted in a lot of fun decks to use. Currently working on Monarch, Zombie, Ninja, VWXYZ, Dark World, Sky Scourge, Ocean Dragon Lord, and Insect Decks. Currently perfecting my Sky Scourge/Dark World Hybrid Deck and VWXYZ Chimeratech Deck.

Education/Credentials
First year in university majoring Computer Engineering.

Yu-Gi-Oh - Machine Deck

Expert: Sam - 11/5/2009

Question
Hey Sam! Well to start off the bat, I am making this deck casual but its in advanced format (It just has a few forbidden/limited cards). It's only casual because I don't think I'm going to a tournament ever, so I thought "why not just make it casual?"
Here's my list:

MONSTERS
Mechanicalchaser x3
X-Head Cannon x2
Battle Footballer x2
Roulette Barrel x1
Inpachi x1
Robotic Knight x2 (replace one with Drillroid)
Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive x3
Drillago x1
Submarineroid x1
Cyber Dragon x3
Machine King x1
Blowback Dragon x1
Jinzo x2
Barrel Dragon x1
Perfect Machine King x1

SPELLS
Lightning Vortex x1
Fissure x2
Smashing Ground x1
Heavy Storm x1
Mystical Space Typhoon x1
Change of Heart x1
Overload Fusion x1
Polymerization x1 ( I prefer it to power bond's life point draining drawback)
Monster Reborn x1
Limiter Removal x1

TRAPS
Trap Hole x1
Bottomless Trap Hole x2
Sakaretsu Armor x3
Magic Cylinder x1 ( I was thinking of replacing it with torrential tribute)
Call of the Haunted x1

EXTRA DECK
Cyber Twin Dragon x1
Cyber End Dragon x1
Chimeratech Overdragon x1
Gatling Dragon x1

The monsters are based mainly for their effects and firepower. The spells are based mainly on destroying monsters and spells/traps. And lastly, the traps are based pretty much only for killing monsters.

btw, is this too many cards? It comes out to like 45 or something... If so, what should I take out?

Answer
Hey. Well, your deck is following the Traditional Format somewhat. Cyber Dragon is limited in both Advance and Traditional Format. If your friends think having 3 cyber dragon in your deck is unfair, replace 2 of them with Proto-Cyber Dragon.

Now for your deck fix.
-----------------------------------------------------
MONSTERS x20
Mechanicalchaser x3
Battle Footballer x2
Roulette Barrel x1
Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive x3
Drillago x1
Submarineroid x1
Cyber Dragon x3
Machine King x1
Blowback Dragon x1
Jinzo x2
Barrel Dragon x1
Perfect Machine King x1

Taken out:
Robotic Knight x2
Inpachi x1
X-Head Cannon x2

I answered your question before, so again I'll post the list of good machine monsters that you can use.

Ancient Gear Knight
Black Salvo
Cyber Dinosaur (Awesome)
Cyber Phoenix
Cyber Valley
DUCKER Mobile Cannon
Dimension Fortress Weapon (Can be good if used correctly)
Heavy Mech Support Platform
Jade Knight
Koa'ki Meiru Powerhand
Koa'ki Meiru Speeder (Better defense than Battle Footballer)
Machine Lord Ür
Quillbolt Hedgehog
Reflect Bounder (Decent beatstick monster with nice effect)
Satellite Cannon
Submarineroid (Use this instead of Battle Footballer)
Chimeratech Overdragon (Fusion)
-----------------------------------------------------
SPELLS x12
Lightning Vortex x1
Fissure x2
Smashing Ground x1
Heavy Storm x1
Mystical Space Typhoon x1
Change of Heart x1
Overload Fusion x1
Polymerization x1 (Power Bond is only used if you're sure of a OTK. Otherwise it'll be too risky. Having a 5600 attack Cyber Twin Dragon that attack twice is pretty scary as it is)
Monster Reborn x1
Limiter Removal x1
Future Fusion x1

Added in:
Future Fusion x1 (Must have in machine decks)
-----------------------------------------------------
TRAPS x8
Bottomless Trap Hole x2
Sakuretsu Armor x3
Magic Cylinder x1
Call of the Haunted x1
Torrential Tribute x1

Taken out:
Trap Hole x1 (Not as good as Bottomless Trap Hole. Making room)

Added in:
Torrential Tribute x1

Note: Try to get Mirror Force and 3 Counter Trap Cards (Divine Wrath, Dark Bribe, and/or Solemn Judgment). Return from the Different Dimension is optional since you'll be removing a lot of monsters to bring out Chimeratech Overdragon.
-----------------------------------------------------
EXTRA DECK
Cyber Twin Dragon x1
Cyber End Dragon x1
Chimeratech Overdragon x1
Gatling Dragon x1

Note: Try to get Chimeratech Fortress Dragon as well. Would be a good addition if you're facing any opponent using Cyber Dragon and/or machine decks.

Thinned your decks to 40. I normally stick with 40 cards, so I can have a higher chance of drawing a card that I needed. Up to you though. Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions, let me know.
