Question
Okay well... I have edited this zombie deck many times over, and it seems to do pretty well (made top 8 two weeks ago) but i still feel like something is wrong.  I really don't know what it is.  So advice would help!

Monsters: 17
3x Zombie Master
3x Pyramid Turtle
2x Goblin Zombie
2x Il Blud
1x Mezuki
1x Plaguespreader Zombie
1x Dark Armed Dragon
1x Caius The Shadow Monarch
1x Bone Crusher
1x Sangan
1x Morphing Jar

Spells: 15
3x Book of Life
2x Foolish Burial
2x Allure of Darkness
1x MST
1x Lightning Vortex
1x Heavy Storm
1x Monster Reborn
1x Giant Trunade
1x Gold Sarcophagus
1x Card of Safe Return
1x Creature Swap

Traps: 8
2x Dark Bribe
1x Mirror Force
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Bottomless Trap Hole
1x Karma Cut
1x Phoenix Wing (PWWB)
1x Compulsory Evac. Device

I feel like i may need some more traps instead of spells, but idk what to put in or take out because everything seems to just flow together.  Im confused. Help!

Answer
Hi Jake
Congratulations on making Top 8! That golden sarcophagus is impressive too! =D I think i found the flaw that is stopping the deck from flowing. It is Allure of Darkness. Its remove ability prevents revival and obviously zombies run on that. Its not that it is a bad card, you could run it in this deck, but it will stop the flow of swarm. You might just want to run 1 just in case you need draw power (but this is a good zombie deck and you should get card of safe return quickly and that should draw more then ever if your zombies work well =D). Also, i don't think Karma Cut is needed. You could either run Karma Cut or PWWB but not both....it just dosn't help when you have to much of that kind of power (and discard power). I suggest taking out PWWB because Karma Cut is better for zombies, but that is up to you.  Bone Crusher is a variable. I would take out Caius and put in something that involves deck drstruction (Vampire Lord or Vampires Curse, depends on what you get hit with more) They should provide more offence then caius (Especially Curse). Add another Bottomless Trap Hole because lots of decks run more then 3+ monsters that must be removed from play (DaD, Judgment Dragon, Lightsworn Commander) or it can be used for defence needs ( Empty field and you need something to protect yourself.
I hope this helps you and wish you best of luck on your future duels!

I can answer most questions about card effects and there rulings. I play with a monarch deck, but i have a plant deck, GBs, Absolute Zero, Fortune Ladies, Flamevell Sworn, and my own hand control deck. If you are going to ask for a deck made from scratch, or i make you a deck from scratch, it may take more then 24 hours to do so. If for any reason it does take me more then 24 hours to answer your question i am really sorry. Also, for deck fixes it would be helpful if you put it in list form and not paragraph form because it is hard to read. Only tournament competitive decks please. I do not fix decks that have banned cards, and they will be sent to the question pool. I use the current ban list which is currently March 2010 in the Yugioh TCG, not OCG. I have school now so if i can't get to your question i'm sorry, but if you resubmit it on a weekend i should be able to get it. I'm also at regionals this weekend so i won't be answering any questions. http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/ I compete in tournaments often and usually make it to the top 4. I hope i help with all i do and if i can improve please tell me so and how. NOTE: I don't have much experience in these decks: I will try my best with them though Hopeless Dragon Batteryman Duelist Based Decks from the shows Morphtronic (There are too many morphtronic monsters) Sept. 1st Demise Decks

Experience

I have played yugioh practically my whole life. I go to tournaments a lot. I like building decks just to experiment and trade a lot. I have won tournaments before, and go to regionals.
