About Tony Jin
Expertise
I can rate and fix Advanced format decks for anyone as long as the list is fairly organized. I do NOT fix Traditional decks. I can also help out with card combos and card trading. I can answer most card rulings even though I'm not an official judge.

Experience
I've been playing this game for 4 years. I often attend local Yu-gi-oh tournaments and I usually make top 8 them. (the only times I don't make it is if I'm trying out a new deck)

Education/Credentials
High school student

Question
um my deck building skills pretty much suck. i like to go to tourneys but i always lose. could u help me build a deck in advanced format that would work good .
p.s. i havent bought  a lot of the new boostersbut i have tons of cards to db2

help would really be appreciated

thx

Answer
I don't build decks for people because that's just stupid.  Part of the fun of yu-gi-oh is deckbuilding, trying new things and see what works and what doesn't.  A deck will never be handed to you in a silver platter.

I do, however have a few tips for you.

1. When building a deck, be sure to choose a theme; Aggro, wind, Horus, Exodia, etc.

2. The average ratios of monsters to spells to traps is about 19-21: 14-16: 4-6 (ratios are important)

3. Try to keep your deck at around a 40 deck count.  The more cards you include, the less chance you will have of drawing the cards you need.

4. Look for ideas on forums, metagame.com, etc.  This will help you a lot.  I do it all the time for inspiration.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
