Yu-Gi-Oh/Deckout Deck
Expert: Pat Sullivan - 6/21/2007
QuestionQUESTION: I made a deck out casual deck, it runs 60 cards so it doesn't get decked out, and Gift of Greed makes my opponent draw 2 cards (i know it’s not out in the US, but I really want to see how it goes)
I try to stall out and deck out quickly, I use destruction to keep their monsters off the field so I don’t take as much damage.
Monsters:
2x Mask of Darkness
2x Vampire Lady
2x Chainsaw Insect
1x Neo Spacian Grand Mole
1x Spirit Reaper
1x D.D. Warrior Lady
1x Morphing Jar
1x Morphing Jar #2
1x Exploder Dragon

3x Raigeki Break
3x Gift of Greed
3x Crush Card Virus
3x Trap Hole
3x Cloak and Dagger

ANSWER: its not bad, and i do know about gift of greed. i check translations of sets to come to ensure i understand readers such as yourself. honestly this is an old concept from back in the days of 3 gravity binds and 3 level limit B where u simply defend against the opponent until they deckout. in truth this version is nowhere as good as it once was. in order for deck out to work these days when there are a lot of fast combo decks and beatdown, the deck changed into a favorite known as ghandipants(its really the name given by its creator) where u use such abuse as morphing jar #2 effect to reset the battlephase over and over again along with morphing jar and needle worms as well as others to deck the opponent out quicker while literally stopping their battle phase. the deck hasnt seen play as of late due to its obvious loss of some useful components. i will give u the original build and if u would like to u can adjust it properly to todays metagame. this list was posted originally on metagame.com, and is by all means not my own original creation, just so u know not to give any credit to me if u manage to make it work:
Monsters: 19
3 Needle Worm
3 Morphing Jar #2
1 Cyber Jar
1 Morphing Jar
2 Penguin Soldier
1 Tsukuyomi
2 Mask of Darkness
1 Magician of Faith
1 Sangan
2 Swarm of Locusts
2 Swarm of Scarabs
Spells: 12
1 Swords of Revealing Light
1 Card Destruction
2 Level Limit – Area B
1 Stumbling
1 Scapegoat
3 The Shallow Grave
1 Book of Moon
1 Book of Taiyou
1 Pot of Avarice
Traps: 9
2 Gravity Bind
3 Threatening Roar
2 Negate Attack
2 Desert Sunlight
your current build i would rate a 5/10 just because its is built for the correct reason but doesnt have any real way to keep up in our current metagame due to faster decks. other than that, i will tell u ghandipants has got to be the slowest fun deck i have ever used. have fun and good luck
