About Damien Carey Expertise I can answer questions about rulings and I will do deck fixes in the Advanced format. However any question concerning deck fixes must include the deck's strategy, or the goal you are ultimately trying to achieve. Sure i could just churn out cloned decks simply because they bear a resemblance to the deck you are trying to produce, but where is the fun in that? My specific areas of expertise centre around Dark World, Gadgets, Monarchs, Chimeratech, Cyberdarks, Warriors and Crystal Beasts.

Experience I'm a Level One Judge and I have been playing Yugioh since 2000. However i took an extended leave of absence in 2004 and only returned to the game in July 2006.

Awards and Honors Since returning to the game i have attended every tournament possible. I am averaging between 4th and 8th place but i seem to be improving. I recently came 25/164 in the Irish Nationals. and 1 took 2nd Place at the Force of Breaker Sneak Preview
Question I have been dueling for 3 weeks now i have entered one local tournament and got obliterated i hate it i need some help my goal is to be good enough to win a local tournament and beat my friend who thinks he so great!

I realy just want to have a deck that can make me have a bit of fun because playing 20 lost 20 isnt a fun situation to be in and i would like to make my deck competetive i have a part time job so i can make money for cards soon enough right now i just want to have some fun in local tournaments! And win some boosters instead of losing 5$ every local tourny ok it will be appreciated thx but dont make my deck like a 500$ just something that be competetive and can beat my friend hes supossed to be pretty good i just hate losing and will almost do anything to win thx and plz help me!

Answer Ouch! Ok. There is no way this deck could win. I will categorise the cards that need to be removed and i will give you the reasons why
First of all Spells and traps that do not result in your opponent losing a card while you lose the card you played is considered poor card economics so you have to remove cards like:
-giant trunade x1
-swords of conceiling light x1
Secondly Equip cards are Bad! Unless equipped to a moster that is slightly harder to kill than usual like Elemental Hero Wildheart. (Premature is exempt from this rule as it gives you a monster back) And you are playing far too many equips any way. (p.s. Magic and Spell cards are the same thing)
Third: Cards that make you discard are very bad unless you want to get the card you are discarding into the graveyard. From the looks of your line up this is not the case.

Fourth: Not sure how you were planning to summon Black Lustre without the ritual spell card so he is definitely gone

You seem to be edging towards a warrior deck so I will give you three different types
The first is a standard warrior people are playing at the moment with no gimics
The Second is A Six Samurai deck. Very gimmicky but lethal. Death in a deck
The third is a cheap version of the first one so that your shopping list isnt too heavy

The favourite thing about this deck is using Stratos to get Ocean. Then between the two of them they keep bringing each other back to the field. also I put United we stand and mage power in here. I dont approve of equip spells except when equipped to wildheart as he is a little harder to kill when he attacks and generally lives slightly longer than most monsters.
Next up: Six Samurai (with the exception of the cyber dragons, the grandmaster and the mirror force putting this deck together or substituting for similar cards should be a cake walk)

And last and least a revamp of the first deck for cheapness. Here C= can be got in common from either structure decks or packs so is cheap enough to get, R= rare still not too difficult. S=Super rare. A little harder but still possible. Ultra rare= could be tricky but worth it.
