Question Hi,
Looking for ideas on where to stay while visiting the North Rim. Nothing available in the park. Tried contacting the Jacob Lake Inn but can't get thru on the phone and no answer to emails. Camping not an option. Are there other hotels/motels in the area?

Keep trying. There are occasionally cancellations.

For some reason, I want to say that Jacob Lake opens around the end of May.

I believe the closet hotels/motels after Jacob Lake are in Kanab, UT which would be quite a hike from the Canyon.
