Question I am in a 4 person group doing a project about sharks and I need to get 2 secondary sources and 1 primary, you're my primary.
I just have a question to ask you.
1. Does a shark's diet affect the shape and size of a shark's teeth?
Thank you for taking the time to read my questioon.
Answer The question should actually be turned around. The diet does not affect the teeth but the teeth are adapted for a particular diet. Teeth shape and size differ depending on thr kind of shark. Whale and Basking sharks have rows of very tiny hooked teeth and they feed on plankton. Most sharks have larger very sharp teeth for tearing apart their prey.
