Question
What math is used in zoology?

Answer
Hi Kirsten
Every activity we carry out and all aspects of our life involves numbers.  Numbers are especially important in science.  In Zoology we cannot study animals without measurements.  If we are zoo keepers how much do animals eat and how much do we feed them.  How do we measure growth. A vet has to use measurements in order to treat a pet.
All animals carry out their life activities using mathematical principles.  Bees build cells in the shape of  a hexagon using geometry.  Jumping spiders measure angles to calculate how far to jump on a bug so they know trigonometry
I challenge you to think of absolutely any thing you do that does not involve math
