Question gday my son found a baby crow after we had a wind storm recently and you wont believe it it was friday the 13th here in australia true story my kids called it hope and i call it lucky name fits i reckon,i guess it was only a couple of days old it had no feathers at all.we have hand reared it now for going on one month.feeding lucky all the good stuff but just recent lucky has had the runs real bad its been touch and go for the last couple of days i really didnt expect lucky to be alive when we wake up in the mornings but he or she battles on even though very lifeless,it would be very upsetting to lose lucky after helping it get this far.ive wormed him and got some medication for it and was told that ive probaly fed him to much meat we do feed lucky alot of mince meat.so my ? is. will feeding a baby crow to much meat give it the runs i know theres a proper word for the runs but cant think of it at the moment sorry .

It is difficult to tell whether too much meat is the problem. Has the bird shown any growth during the month. Start feeding it liquids and see what happens. Try some hard boiled egg. I must tell you that the chance of survival of a bird this young is not good. Are there any adult crows around? If so put the bird outside and watch it. The adults may feed it. Let em know what happens. The word for the "runs" is diarrhea.
