Question hello! I'm really interested in being a zoologist.. but I'm not just interested in working with animals on land I'm more interested with working with underwater life ..but I've heard that a marine biologist doesn't actually work with fish they work with micro organisms and not with fish...i am really confused with this and was wondering if you could tell me if there was a chance for me to work with these underwater animals more than the ones on land ? or should i become a diver of some sort ? that specializes in working with animals ?
i will appreciate you answer as soon as possible.
thank you!
Answer Hi rebecca
A marine biologist studie all types of life un the ocean. To be a marine biologist you must first get a degree in General biology and then specialize in the area of your interest, which in your case is marine vertebrates. Being a diver is a plus
