Question
I found a snake in my lawn mom says its a grass snake it has a red
stripe strait down its back. and a yellow stripe down its back on both sides it isnt dangerous and dosnt try to strike i have him in an acarium but if i dont no wat kinda of snake it is that i might be feeding it somthing that he will not want to eat. im letting it go but first i want to no its kind


Answer
It sounds like it could be a rainbow snake (1) or possibly a ground snake (2), but since I'm not familiar with any snakes like this it's hard to tell from your description.
