Question
I am a Zoology major at NC State.  I will be graduating in Dec '09 and then hope to become an intern at Turpentine Wildlife Refuge in Arkansas.  My question is I plan on going to grad school, but I am having a lot of difficulty finding any professors/schools in the country that work with large cats.  In the future I would like to do Research/Conservation with Tiger and/or Lions... although other large cats also interest me.  Do you know of any way I can find out WHERE I can get info on Professor/Colleges where I might apply to grad school.... NC State works with fish...and the closest would be weasels......
Thank you for your time.  Craig

Answer
it would seem to me that since this refuge talkes care of big cats they would have this information. Ohio has quite a few tiger refuges.  You might check with The Ohio State Univ in Columbus.
It is my belief that there should be a ban on the sale of big cats in the US for personal use
