My neighbor and his son found this critter stranded in a swampy tide pool as the tide went out, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Ken is an avid fisherman, our neighbor across the street is the same and none of us has ever seen the like.
We are all very curious.

I cannot see much detail but this does look like Glycera. A marine Polychaete or bristleworm. They are also caller bloodworms the bait most commonly used for sea fishing. They bleed like crazy when you stick a hook into them. They also can bite
