Question
Christians do worship God the Father both directly and via Jesus who is not Just God the father but God the Son as well, (yes we still regard ourselves as monothiests, yet we believe in the Trinity, even most christians find this strange.)

But my question is what do Zoroastrians believe about God the father

Also what precisely do Zoroastrians believe about Jesus? Is he a Prophet? An incarnation of God? the Savior? a Philosopher? a Saint?

What do Zoroastrians believe will happen to Christians and other non Zoroastrians when they die.

How can Zoroastrianism justify changes in its religon? (please clarify what you mean by changes because in my mind I see Zoroastrianism changing from duelism to Monothieism, please explain if you mean change or development and explain how in God's sight it could be justified.)

Thanks for the info
Henry

Answer
Dear Henry, Ushta
My question to you is, Why are you so interested to know what Zoroastrians believe especially about the God the Father or Jesus with relation to Christians?

Zoroastrians believe in Ahura Mazda as the Creator of Universe. And Zarathushtra as the Prophet.

Zoroastrians don't know what will happen to Christians and other non-Zoroastrians and frankly, they don't care. They are trying to save their own religion from extinction because there are less than a million of Zoroastrians left worldwide.

Changes are in all religion. Whether Christianity or Judaism or Zoroastrianism. The practice changes as per socio-norms. For instance, the strict following of going to church by all Christians in the 18th has become comparatively more lenient in the 21st century. The view of, for instance, Gay marriage is more tolerant than what was considered in the 15th Century. The perspective and mindset of people changes and with that the Society changes which makes the practice of religion change over the period of 5 to 10 decades. So, the changes are in relation to this and not the philosophy of the religion.

By the way, Zarathushtra was the first one to talk and philosophize about Monotheistic religion.

As for God, no matter from which caste or religion you are from, all the books at the end of the day say the same thing... Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds. It sounds easy but try and do it which realistically is the most difficult thing to do.
